Chesfield Downs Golf Academy offers a wide range of coaching facilities, covering all aspects of the game such as Swing, Long Game, Putting, Chipping, Bunker Shots, Pitching and Playing Lessons.

We also run 'Discover Golf' groups lessons aimed specifically for Adult Beginners & Novices, as well as Junior Coaching Programme for juniors in two separate age groups.

Keith started his career at Mowsbury Golf Course as a 16 year old, before moving to Stevenage Golf Centre in 1982. He became Head Professional at Stevenage at the age of 26 and went on to become Centre Manager in 1995, before moving to Abbey Hill in 1997.
During the five years at Abbey Hill, Keith worked with Scott Cranfield, one of Europe's leading coaches, before returning to the Stevenage area, when taking up the post of Head Professional at Chesfield Downs Golf Club in September 2002.

Glen started his professional career at Theydon Bois Golf Club. Within a year he moved to West Essex Golf Club in Chingford and quickly established a successful coaching programme and playing career on the Mastercard Tour.

After 7 years at West Essex, Glen moved to East Herts Golf Club as the Head Professional and in 2008 joined us at Chesfield Downs. Over the past 17 years Glen has coached a number of high standard golfers, including county and national players and the world amateur golf champion.
