Club Gets Highest Award
Chesfield Downs Golf & Country Club became only the 5th club in Hertfordshire to be awarded with the ‘Golfmark’ & ‘Clubmark’ certification in April 2009.
The award is based mainly around the participation of children’s involvement at the club. To achieve the awards the club has to meet high standards in policies & procedures and having a safe and organised environmentwhere staff are trained to support the needs of juniors and beginners.
Chesfield Downs manager, Robin Greenwood said, ‘a big thanks must go to Keith Bond for putting in the hard work to instigate this achievement and collate all the evidence required. Achieving this award shows parents that we have the correct standards and procedures in place’.
